Dameon is an established hospitality industry professional with 29 years experience in Operations, Strategic Sales and Marketing within the hospitality sector. Throughout his career, he has accumulated a wealth of industry knowledge and developed an extensive address book, through building strong business relationships. He has experience working across a broad range of hotels, from country houses, boutique city centre hotels, as well as resort hotels and wellness destinations in the UK and overseas.
He developed his niche skill set in driving sales strategies and business development for both new and existing hotels and in the past 20 years he has been successful supporting the launch of over 40 new hotels in the UK, Europe and Caribbean. He has worked with owners of properties from early-stage development to full realisation.
Dameon then moved his focus into Members Clubs to work on a new concept to launch a private members Club community for entrepreneurs and investors, then working as part of the Executive Team in 2020 as Director of Sales for Home House Collection where he stayed for 3 years.
The Hospitality Road was founded in October 2023. The ambition is to be the leading consultancy and advisory company for the hospitality industry, built on values of strong relationships, founded through honesty and integrity, to share impartial advice and knowledge.

Joost qualified in August 2003 with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in International Hospitality Management.
After working in the St. Regis in Beijing and travelling with the F1 catering, Joost had the opportunity to commence his hotel career and move to New Orleans, USA.
In November 2005 Joost decided to join Hilton Worldwide in the UK and held several senior Food and Beverage roles within the managed and franchise estate. He held positions, such as food and beverage director of the Waldorf Hilton, London and supporting the regional team with the setting up of the UK Food and Beverage Best Practice/ Quality Assurance standards for Hilton UK&I. He continued his journey with IHG Hotels and Resorts in various Hotel Operations leadership roles.
During his 25 years global career, he has been working with the likes of Michelin star chefs and launched different restaurant and hotel concepts. In 2018 Joost successfully project managed an independent warehouse hotel conversion, from concept to build and subsequently launched the hotel in 2018.
Thereafter he took the opportunity as general manager of Home Grown, a private members’ club for entrepreneurs and investors. He spearheaded the business plan, driving the vision, purpose and brand proposition of the Club through the turbulence of the pandemic and successfully scaled the business.
Through his growing network, Joost has managed a broad spectrum of hotels, clubs and other developments with a diverse range of concepts and brands throughout his career. Joost has a collaborative approach, to share his impartial knowledge and advise with owners, operators and investors.
